إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ (1)
TRULY WE REVEALED it on the Night of Determination. Nous l'avons certes, fait descendre (le Coran) pendant la nuit d'Al-Qadr.
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ (2)
How will you know what the Night of Determination is? Et qui te dira ce qu'est la nuit d'Al-Qadr?
لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ (3)
Better is the Night of Determination than a thousand months. La nuit d'Al-Qadr est meilleure que mille mois.
تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍ (4)
On (this night) the angels and grace descend by the dispensation of their Lord, for settling all affairs. Durant celle-ci descendent les Anges ainsi que l'Esprit, par permission de leur Seigneur pour tout ordre.
سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ (5)
It is peace till the dawning of the day. Elle est paix et salut jusqu'à l'apparition de l'aube.
